English for beginners at Languages4Life is intended for those who want to start learning English from scratch. If you feel that English is too difficult and have tried in the past to learn but never achieved your goals, you’ll benefit greatly from studying our beginners course. The classes are highly communicative and adapted to your own pace, with dedicated, engaging teachers who will build your confidence and help you progress.

Why do the English course for beginners?
This course is ideal for you if:
- You want to start from scratch and go at a comfortable pace.
- You prefer to study in small groups (8 students maximum).
- You want to stay motivated and see progress in your English.
In all of our courses the teaching method we follow is based on the the active participation of all students in the learning process. With that in mind, you are the protagonist of the class and the teacher guides the learning process.
The classes are very engaging and are done 100% in English from the very beginning. We work on the 4 different language skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) by doing a variety of classroom activities.
The activities (dialogues, roll play, presentations, working in pairs, etc.) come from real-life contexts and are used to help practice important functions such as giving or asking for information, expressing your opinion, your likes and dislikes, persuading, discussing plans, etc.
The classes are fun, engaging and dynamic and led by experienced and qualified teachers.
What will I learn?
At the end of this course you will be able to:
- Introduce yourself and other people. Give and ask for basic information.
- Describe people’s apperances, objects, places and situations.
- Express your likes and dislikes.
- Describe your family and friends.
- Talk about clothes, stores and shopping.
- Make suggestions.
- Ask for and give the time. Talk about dates and numbers.
- Describe the seasons and the weather.
- Describe transportation methods, cities and countries.
- Talk about possessions.
What happens after the course?
Once you complete the beginners course you’ll feel much more able and confident to join one of the regular groups to continue studying and complete the A1 level. We’re confident you’ll be highly motivated to keep up the momentum and continue studying!

What will the classes be like?
You will be in a small group of students (8 maximum) and do a mixture of activities from the textbook and on the interactive whiteboard. The classes are student-centred, meaning they are focused on speaking and practice, guided by the teacher. The classes are carefully structured and prepared by our experienced teachers, with each lesson focused around one or two topics and language points. You will also have plenty of time to review and recycle what you have learned, giving you the necessary practise to achieve fluency in English.
